Handcrafted, Lye & Tallow Soap is distinguished by its firm texture for lasting durability, a light lather, and outstanding cleansing and skin-conditioning properties. The high level of unsaponified beef tallow (superfat) ensures gentleness and helps protect the skin’s natural barrier.

The name of the soap highlights both the simplicity of its two-ingredient recipe but also the beauty and resonance of our native Polish language (ŁUGIŁÓJ). We hope to shift any negative associations linked to tallow in the native tongue, celebrating its benefits instead.
Product Description

This is our first beef tallow soap, noted for its exceptional effectiveness based on a simple two-ingredient recipe and traditional handcrafting.

We use only beef tallow and lye (sodium hydroxide), following tradition of cold process saponification. This ensures safe care for your face, hands, and body, free from toxins and synthetic additives.

Each bar is handmade and unique, with a natural scent typical of traditional soap. After curing, bars over 70g are packed in paper bags and labeled.

Saponification of tallow and lye naturally produces sodium tallowate and glycerin, which moisturize and condition the skin while giving the soap its structure.
Instructions for use

Wet the soap, rub between your hands to create lather, cleanse your skin, and rinse thoroughly.

After use, place the soap on a draining soap dish to allow it to dry.
