Our journey began with the creation of natural, minimalist skincare products with short ingredient lists, inspired by homemade recipes from years past. A breakthrough moment came when we turned to beef tallow, a time-honored ingredient used for generations both in skincare and in cooking. It was tallow that shaped the direction of our first innovations and allowed us to pioneer the European cosmetics market as the first to introduce single- and two-ingredient balms, as well as soap made solely from it.
From the very beginning, the origin of our ingredients has been of key importance. We choose to work with farmers and innovators who, like us, follow their own independent path. Defying mainstream shortcuts and the chase for quick profits, they refuse to believe in the widespread notion that “it can’t be done” instead their farms and businesses are run sustainably, and their cattle are raised on an entirely grass-fed diet (100% grass-fed).
This passion and persistence in pursuing natural and evolutionarily consistent solutions have become deeply ingrained in the philosophy and high standards of our products. We do not compromise where others settle for easy or fast solutions. We consistently prove that true harmony between business, the environment, and science is possible.
